Attention all home buyers!!!
The federal government is currently offering up to $8,000, or up to 10% of the home's value, whichever is less, in tax rebates for first time home buyers or anyone who has not owned a home in the last three years. North Carolina Governer Bev Purdue is talking about adding an additional $2,000 to that number for a total of up to $10,000! Currently this is for closings taking place before December 1, 2009.
You can qualify for this incentive if you earn less than $75,000 (when filing as a single) or $150,000 (when filing jointly).
